Comment: been catching blues for years. there are a few good spots for surfcasting in my area. in fact, one is a 5 minute walk from my house. i've had times when the blues are so thick you get sick of catching them. i usually switch to a single hook lure to expedite release. there's nothing like fishing a bluefish feeding frenzy. i would be scared to fall out of the boat for fear of being stripped clean like a piranha. just watch your fingers. they'll chop it off no problem! biggest blue caught was 15lb. 33in. caught it live lining a pogie (menhaden, bunker, etc.) had 'em tear the bait in half. bring up a half of fish still moving it's mouth. pretty weird.

Comment: I haven't caught a bluefish in a while, it seems they have disappeared in my area. I do agree their the toughest fight.
