Went for about 5 hours early this morning. Hit all of the honey holes we have there and surprisingly came up empty. Even the bite was slow. Ended up only pulling in Largemouth weighing in at maybe a pound. definitely my worst day of the season up to this point. Oh well, they all can't be great days! | - |

Hit up the Sud again this afternoon. Badlarry & I tried a new spot which proved to be a nice little sweet spot. Pulled in several lmb & smallies. Hit a nice 4lb lmb & a very fiesty 3lb smallie. Man, what a fight that thing put up. |

Some time to kill at the Sud

Had about 2 hours to kill so stopped by the Sud. Water levels are back up to normal so really tough to get to those big bass. All caught on senkos.
Still productive though. Finished with 5 catches. Biggest was a bit heavier than 2.5 lbs. Most were around 1lb-2lbs.
There were some hard bites though. Wish I had set the hooks a bit better and it could have been an even better. However, I was really taken back at the fact that they were biting in the mid afternoon. A lot of top water action too. |

Made another trip to the Sud. This time I took one of my cousins. Again, another productive day. We managed to pull over 20 fish mostly Lmb ranging from about 1 lb up to 4 1/2 lbs, a couple smallies and quite a few pickerel. All in all a great day! | - |

Went out this morning for a couple of hours. Hit a 7lb, pair of 4+lbs and a 3lber. Also pulled a bunch in the 1-2lb range.
Went again with Badlarry this eveing for about 2 hrs. He was killing it. He got a nice pair of 4's and a bunch of others. I pulled another 3lber, a few 1-2 lbers, a pair of small sallies and one fiesty pickrel. | - |

Went early Saturday morning for about two hours. A lot of top water action with a few small Larries. Switched it up to the senko. First cast near a submerged tree and BOOM, 5.75 lber. Lucky I got this this to shore cause it was barely hooked. Definitely on cloud 9 for the rest of the day | - |
