Hey Paul Have you been down to the Thames lately?? I know it has been a bit chilly to be able to use a spinning rod, but was wondering if they are hitting the fish pretty good? Thanks Bob |

Went out to mansfield this morning till 1pm.Place was packed. Only heard of 2 fish caught all day.Wont go back to heavilly fished.Stopped by holbrook pond on the way home.never ice fished there before and its practically in my back yard.Fished there for about 3 hrs 3 bass ,2callicos,pickeral and a perch.I put some photos up. Thats fishing myself with 6 tip ups.I dont think there is a spot over 4 feet deep. Everyone wanted to stay home and watch football.Perfect weather.You ever try mono pond or Amston lake?  |

The state was down there checking licenses friday so I had gone down to walmart in norwich.They told me theyre not selling anymore.Went over to thayers marina and got one over the internet with credit card. They cant take cash for licenses. |

Hoping to get down to the Harbor a little while this weekend before there is to much ice. I would go this morning if it wasnt so damn cold.I dont mind 10 or 20 degrees but -4 not for me.Maybe thinking of going to mansfield sunday morning for some pike if its not windy.Was down the harbor last friday afternoon ,But wrong tide.Alot of people but no on catching any.I think high tide is around 2pm this weekend. |

Paul met you couple weeks ago fishing on the dock thames river for schoolie stripers. There was a guy showing us the white zooms with the bottle of dye to dip the tails in. Was down there last thursday but to windy. See you on the river. matt. |
