Comment: True Smoke. I fished a ton this year! Imagine I went striper fishing 5 or 6 times on the Harbor with no stripers caught. Then I catch one in a lake.

Comment: Roger, you have to actually go there to see these things. As for the stripers, Arlington bait is loaded with striper pics from down there.

Comment: For what its worth Shawn, I've never seen a smallie caught there either. Maybe it's time for you to show me one of those now too! Go get em' killah!

Comment: Shawn you will never catch them when you target them. They are just an added bonus over there.

Comment: ROGER!!!! You wisenhiemer!!! I went back today. Fished for smallies while it was light, caught 2 dink larry's on a crank and a jig. Went back to the dam after the sun went down. Unfortunately the wind was blowing me right at it. It was hard holding position. I gave up pretty quickly.

Comment: Shawn...nice job. Only problem is if like me you get striper-fever, spend all day trying to figure out how to get back out there and catch a few more...screws up your whole day!!

Comment: Kman had always told me about the stripers there and how so many people would be catching them in the past, but I never had actually seen one up until now. Good job Sean!

Comment: It was an awesome fight. I didn't have a tape measure but I was thinking he was probably in that 23-24 inch range

Comment: Didn't know stripers came up the river that far. Good fishing story for sure

Comment: Until last night I didn't fully believe that they were even in there. Like Kman said there's probably some holdovers. It was cool catching them on 12 pound test. The surges were pulling my boat all around.

Comment: Nice catch. Do you know if stripers hang out there all year? Or do they just swim up the river while they're here on their migration and then go back down south? I fished Upper Mystic this year, and definately plan on going back to fish that area, Upper, Lower, Mystic River, and if there are stipers there year round, that'd be a blast targeting them on some Heavier bass gear.

Comment: Sorry Kman I can't help myself. Sam it's kind of a pain to load in and out alone because you have to go down hill and then back up at the end of the day but last night it seemed a little easier.

Comment: you should stay on the Everett side of the river and leave my Medford stripers alone
