Comment: It seems best two times of the day to go are first thing in the morning between 5-9 am & again in the evening between 5-8 pm.

However, I have found that when the bite slows down a bit and I move into another spot, that is when I get the bigger fish. Either way, you should be able to walk away happy!

As far as senkos are concerned, I will switch it up between 5" & 6" worms. Both have been productive. I am contstantly amazed at how some fish will go after something that is much bigger than they are.

Comment: How is the morning bite Best time tomorrow is 5-7 am right up my alley Trigger also makes a Senko worm little bit bigger and thicker

Comment: Any recomendations on brands, sizes or types of swim baits?

Also, besides the senkos, if the water is calm enough, I've a good amount of success with topwater baits at the Sud. However, those seem to pull in more pickerel than bass and the bass I do get from those baits seems to be in 1-2lb range.

User: muskiebigfish
Comment: I like Big Pickerels also. We going to throw a couple Kivas out there and see how they like them hahhaha Got plenty of Senkos.....

Comment: Yeah, that 10lber would be nice. I will have to share with you about the pig that got away on this trip. Was big enough where my hook was bent.

I've been using mostly senkos, but thinking of trying some larger swim baits to see what I pull on those. I can say that besides the lmb, there are some good size pickerel in there which as we all know put up on hell of a fight.

Between badlarry & myself, we have a few spots there that are really producing some nice fish.

Comment: If you look online, it states that it has the same rules as Wachusett. However, people go before sunrise and definitely after sunset. Fishing is restricted in certain areas, especially near the dam.

User: muskiebigfish
Comment: Are there any Fishing Restrictions at the Sud. Meaning can you fish before sun up or after sun rise? Thanks

Comment: I was at Dick's on Friday and Senko's were 2 for $11.

Unfortunately selection was almost completely picked clean except for a few random colors or sizes. :-)

Comment: Sports Authority had a very small selection and Walmart had about the same. You can also try Kinami Baits also made by Yamamoto - same thing just smaller packages.

User: badlarry
Comment: I'm going to head back out there later this afternoon one of the girls has softball practice.Either going to have to try something new or hit Dick's or sports authority did Sports authority have Senko's?Yeah Muskie aem hooked me up with a new spot not to far from mine that is churning out 4lbers like its its job!ha ha!
Date: 05/29/12 12:20 PM

User: aem1031
Comment: I think so. It blew my mind yesterday. There were quite a few people fishing around me in the morning & near Badlarry & I last night, but they weren't catching anything. I guess we just had a touch of luck yesterday. There was one spot where Badlarry would cast and get a hit every time - not small bass either, they had pretty fat bellies.

User: badlarry
Comment: Went again this morning hit a nice 4lb Larry and I'm going to make you jealous 3 Sally's one 3lb+I think they like overcast days cause it was foggy and over cast ran out of Senko's and had to take gym clothes to one of the girls schools so had to cut it short bite was a little slower but I wasn't there that long.
