Comment: This site and the people on it rule! I had a situation in the very early spring around 11pm when a buddy and I were heading back in the canoe from a night fishing trip and a few seconds later we somehow tipped into the water. It was so cold and the boat with the all the gear, battery, troller, anchor, and about a grand worth of tackle and rods submerge into the water. I only got a rod because it was hooked to my jeans as we struggled to swim about 100 feet to shore to then take the walk of shame home to my house. The next morning we head out on foot with rope to hopefully find the canoe....a few minutes later I see Meatballs and Denny and they without hesitation offer to help.. I jumped on there boat and about 30 minutes later we found the canoe, only a couple inches of it was exposed on the surface- very luckily the bottom of the boat had my tackle box, the troller and battery which both still worked. They then offered to tow it back to my lauch- unbelievable!!! Thanks again guys!
