live4fish I was bouncing clams in a wicked Merrimac current and nailed this Atlantic Sturgeon. It was awesome. I didn't want to keep it out long, and I had a kid that helped me net it snap the pictures. I'll never fish a waterway with an unobstructed shot at the open sea without rigging up for a potential monster.

thelucky I'm pretty sure you are not allowed to take them out of the water if you catch one. But nice fish.

live4fish Thanks! You're not allowed to 'mollest' them. Lol. He's over 40 years old, and they're quite hardy. He was delicious.....................................................................................He swam off stronger than any fish I ever released.
