I'm going to have a huge void in my life without Steve!
We were planning on doing a lot of fishing since he was going to reire in a few days.
Maybe with him looking down on me he can help me catch some Monster Pike!

Hi Everone,
I'm Fish Freak,(Ted Richard).
I have some very sad news to share with all of Steve's Fishing Buddies.
Stefe passed away Tuesday Sept. 15. 2009 at 7:15Am @ Yale New Haven Hospital.
Steve was one of my best friends and fishing partner, I'm going to miss him the rest of my life!
In Honor of Steve please introduce a kid to fishing!
Who knows they may grow to love fishing as much as my Buddy Stephen (BOO) Running 1954-2009.

Hey Steve, fishing for me so far this Summer has been a bit slow, basically because I haven't gotten out as much as I'd hoped to. But the few times that I have been out it's been good. Haven't been saltwater fishing yet though, a couple of my buddies have and they've done well mostly with porgies. I even made a trip up to Maine a couple of weeks ago and didn't get to fish! I was there for a class reunion. Between now and the Fall I hope to pick up the pace. Thanks for catching up! I'll be in touch.

GOOD FISHING, ENJOY YOUR RETIREMENT!

Still haven't decided yet. Mel is worried that the ice isn't safe with all the Warner weather we have had. If we do go at all, it will be at Mansfield.

Well that explains it! We got nothing at Quaddick. What size shiners do you use? WE got mediums, but I'm wondering if they are too big.

Hey, I'm not sure were we will end up. My buddy knows some one who live on Quasett pond in Woodstock. He has been trying to get permission to fish there. If we can't, I'm not sure what the plan will be. Good luck with your pike. If you don't get it, may I will!!! :) Ha Ha

steve,Iwas out by the 2nd island left side by the cove.Had tip ups out in the middle to 9ft to the 4ft by the cove. I kept them apart as far as i could without using binnoculars. The guy i was talking about was camped out on that island. I even dropped some chum into my holes before starting to bring in some baitfish.I cant believe they are having a tournament there next weekend.Im fishing coventry lake next saturday for some walleye.Havent caught one yet.say there good eating.
