Comment: this time of the year or in the spring, whenever the water temp is below 55, you don't need let the spoon sit on the bottom for to long. you are betting a hit on the fall. in water temp below 55, laker can be anyway where bait fish are. I caught most of them pretty close to shore and many of them in real shallow water.
