Comment: There's only so many tucked away spots in that town. This sounds familiar. It's a lure graveyard from hanging trees and heavy vegetation. Are we talking about the same place? There's a concrete damn to fish from and straight across the lake is a concrete channel linking the spot to a smaller pond. Everything is surrounded by heavy woods? Your behind a major area landmark?

If we are talking about the same place, it's public and you can drive right up to the water. I suspect you parked in a nearby neighborhood which is an access point but requires some bush whacking.
