New Spot In Voorhees

Heard through the fishing grapevine, about a little pond/lake in voorhees. So, sunday morning we left at 11:15 and drove 20 minutes, into a neighborhood and found the spot. There are 3 areas to fish from - 2 have very limited access to the water, but the 3rd area had 90 % access to the water. It's a long shallow lake connected to a pond. The pond area is awesome, you can get all the way around and get to the otherside where part of the lake is. Water is darkish, but clear and clean. Didn't see any pikerels. Saw tons of small bass, so we know there's a big bubba or 2 somewhere lurking around...and we aim to catch all of them. Don't know if i'm allowed to mention exactly where this is, and there was a sign that said private park except for residents. As we parked a police car drove by while we had our gear out on the trunk, and he just waved...so we grabbed everything and got to fishing. Fished for 90 minutes...we will be back soon!

  • There's only so many tucked away spots in that town. This sounds familiar. It's a lure graveyard from hanging trees and heavy vegetation. Are we talking about the same place? There's a concrete damn to fish from and straight across the lake is a concrete channel linking the spot to a smaller pond. Everything is surrounded by heavy woods? Your behind a major area landmark?

If we are talking about the same place, it's public and you can drive right up to the water. I suspect you parked in a nearby neighborhood which is an access point but requires some bush whacking.

Message me and I'll tell you how to drive right to the water.
