Comment: as far as retrieve goes, I use a 2 pops and a pause then 1 pop and a pause then back to 2 pops but on a river, if you put the frog anywhere near a bass, you wont get past the first 2 pops

Comment: The larger one. It's all where you cast it. I cast my frog into the thickest, nastiest stuff. No such thing as too shallow or too thick of cover. Rivers are a bit different then ponds and lakes because the current can and will dictate bass position

Comment: What was the retrieve? I only ask because I've fished a Koppers hollow body many times with no hits. Also, do you use the larger or smaller frogs?

Comment: hollow body Koppers frogs in Bullfrog and Toad colors, not that color really matters with frogs.
