Comment: It would help to know the deep spots (bathymetry) so they can be located. I've yet to give up on it. If there are 1lbers there are probably bigger ones especially where there is so little access from shore, plenty of "safe" places for bigger fish to hold.

Comment: I've fished there a few times. I was on the RR track side, and something big took a hit at my worm as it was dragging it over pads, but other than that I haven't seen anything in there. Roumors say there's big fish there though.
