bassinbrooksy unfortunately this fish bashed itself around on some rocks under the water pretty bad while fighting on my line and after almost 20 minutes of holding it in the water it kept going belly up :( I feel awful but it wont go to waste cause my brother in law said he will eat it.

bassinbrooksy at first I was practically fighting tears at the fact that this beautiful animal had basically killed itself while trying to escape but then felt a little relieved when I called up my bro in law and he was super stoked that I was bringing him home 12 lbs of pike to eat so I guess its just part of life.

lunkerhunter2366 Lol man don't beat up yourself too bad! People take fish like that in a second! Us good anglers really take pride and catching and releasing a beast. Another great pike!

bshirley508 Nice fish man and remember people have been eating fish since the dawn of time. The fact you show compassion for a fish proves your a real angler great pike and nice job on not allowing it to be waisted its better to bring it home then leave it to rot.... Congrats on a 12#r
