bassinbrooksy i know that is the most rediculous thing i ever heard! i go on vacation to mount vernon in maine every summer my parent in laws own a property there and there is some friggin awsome smallie fishing within minutes of the cabin and i would be devestated if i had to use live baits this year :( on a side note in maine it is (atleast was last summer not sure if it still is) legal to buy suckers for bait! every store has em so if i cant fish plastics this year ill be doing alot of pike fishing :)

bassinbrooksy lol. i usually get lucky at my local hole, when i tangle on an old piece of line i end up dragging back hula poppers and jitterbugs and ratl traps lol. people lose alot of stuff in my favorite spot and i fish this area with mostly 50 lb braid so when i hook into someones lost lure or whatever it may be i grab the line with a gloved hand and just winch everything free and back to shore its like opening a treasure chest usually lol

bassinbrooksy also just for perspective this started as a 5 inch senko with a 3/0 hook and when i found it again it was ruffly a 10 inch senko dwarfing a little 3/0 hook lol
