Details:jamesd got the new nitro z7 so of course we had to go out n give it a run for its money. we started out at furnace pond in pembroke looking for another awesome outing like like last week. much sunnier then we expected water in the 69-70 range water being its usual oldham/furnace stained water. nothing on frogs or spinnerbait, all 10-15 fish were caught on senkos and green pumpkin/purple flake pit bosses. some decent fish caught 5 fish bag around 10-11lbs. james's son turned out to have lunker of the day around 3-31/2lbs. all fish came within 5 ft of the lily pads but nothing in the pads. once we loaded up the nitro we headed to great herring most fish caught on the drop offs on the drop shot rig a first for me james and jayden (can you believe a 8 year old slaying smallies with a drop shot!)another 10-15 fish mostly small 5 fish bag for maybe 6lbs one huggge pickerel on a baby brush hawg close to 4lbs all in all great day on the water with great people and a great new boat

User Discussion:
Congrats on the new Nitro Z7! Everytime I thumb through a Bass Pro catalog, I see the pic of that boat and wish I had one.
