08/10/10 - Dug Pond - Natick, MA

home from work late tonight at 8:00. nicholas wanted to try cat fishing with his friend down at dug pond so i went along to keep them out of trouble. we fished from 8:30 to 10:30 from the diving board at the beach. no cat fish, but we did get 5 small bass. the biggest at 1 lb. my phone camera sucks in the dark and i couldn't get any decent pics. i was using a yum worm so i wasn't expecting any cat fish, but we decided to try again on the boat some night before summer ends.

If you want to catch cats at dug try the little pond across from the high school, i grew up fishing dug and have caught plenty of cats out of that mud hole. If you want some real fun fish the main pond for carp there are some real slobs in that pond.
