Comment: trout and bass thrive in ball pond. someone said wind kills the bite, but i dont think anything can with how much im catching. As number one bass fishing pond or lake in the state, it has mighty bass. It even had the state record brown trout of 9 1/2 pounds. It has been beaten in other places now but a man just caught a ten pounder right off shore!

Comment: Been fishing up there alot lately and have had a good amount of success fishing senkos for bass. I find however that the best time to be there is when lake conditions are glass, as any wind really kills the bite. Is slowly becoming one of my favorite spots to fish for largies, mainly for amount caught, not really size of the fish caught as most are 3 pounds or less.
