a good choice of bait for highland lake is shiners down about 13 feet with a weight to keep them down or nightcrawler allways work good too!!
spinner baits or buzz baits or small rapalas work very good here. live shiners hooked through the nose casted and retreved with a small split shot 6 inch in front of it works good too
