BRANT LAKE IS ONE OF THE PRETTIEST BODIES OF WATER IN THE NORTHEAST.SITUATED IN A MOUNTAIN VALLEY,IT OFFERS BREATHTAKING SCENERY.THANKS TO A STRONG MANAGEMENT PROGRAM,BRANT LAKE HAS REGAINED ITS POSITION AS A MAJOR NORTHEAST FISHBOWL.


Brant Lake is 5 miles of crystal clear liquid joy. Boat, swim, ski to your hearts content. Drink in the beauty of the pristine waters and historical homes lining the lakeshore. Fishing, hiking, and boating are treasured activities here. Ice fishing is a popular winter activity. Snowmobiling is a long-established sport with access to an extensive, well-maintained trail system. many summer homes in development and already built. Game fish are medium sized. Expect much boat traffic on most days. Scenic Brant Lake, just east of Horicon, is stocked with rainbow and brown trout. You can also find native smallmouth bass, largemouth bass in the weedy bays, and chain pickerel. A variety of panfish make it fun for younger anglers too. There is free public boat access at a DEC launch site near the west end in Horicon.
