Review: I've caught seven nice largemouths out of there this year, but the weeds came in late June - early July and made fishing it a salad-harvesting chore. I tried a weedless frog a week ago, but didn't have any takers. Any texas-rigged soft bait would probably be ok too if the bass aren't hitting surface lures.

Congrats on landing one in that soup anyway!
