Comment: Buff I'm still learning my way but if you plan on using cranks I'd suggest a rod designed for crankbaits. I just got a Quantum KVD 7'4. This series has 3 lengths. I picked the middle in hopes it would be versitile enough for shallow and deep cranks. So far so good
