Comment: The beds were sporadic. Some of the fish were caught on the 1st or 2nd cast and some took a lot more work. There were even a couple that won the battle.

Comment: beautiful sally!...and if u wouldnt mind ...were their alot of beds and did it take alot of casts to make them react? I go to the Q every year at the spawn and thought it would be early this year because of the warm winter. Smallies ussually spawn around the mid june up their..ill be gratefull if u can give me a heads up!

Comment: I'm not sure exactly where to find smallies other than here or wachussett but I've seen trips from the south shore and the cape that had smallies
