Comment: oh, and I tried Starrow pond the other day. Very enjoyable. I caught a lot of bass, but only two were keepers. Are there any hawgs in there?

Comment: I usually have the most luck in and around the pads and also in the grassbeds. It has been very mucky lately which adds insult to injury when the fish aren't biting. I was out there tonight and I got four bass but only one was a keeper. I did get a big fat pickerel though

Comment: I tried Buckmaster Pond at 6 a.m. yesterday in my kayak and nothing. Everything I threw out came back covered in salad. Very frustrating. Where did you have the most luck?

Also, the smaller pond at the Hale, Starrow Pond, is a nice little spot.
