Comment: There are definately some dangerous shallows in this pond. The eastern cove is shallow, but its approaches on either side of the island can be worse. During the summer, as you come into the main water from the launch/dam area to the north, make a wide turn to the east if you wish to enter that cove. If you leave to the south, stay off of the island and lay off the throttle to keep your back end up. There is a bar or two reaching from the island.
