Alex & I were so,pumped to fish in our first tourney! Johnny had commented to us before the start that this lake was a tuff place to fish. He wasn't kidding! We caught our fist keeper right away 1 1/4lber from there they kept getting smaller! Alex hooked a huge pickerel about 19-21" about 2 1/2 lbs. Didn't get a pic cause neither one of us wanted to stick our hand in the net & pick it up (mouth full of sharp teeth!) LOL! Then we headed to north pond & started catching some fish but, still a lot of dinks. Hooked last two keepers with about a hour & a half to go. Barely 12" each. Couldn't seem to locate were the big ones were hiding. We still had a good time, & it was great to spend some father & son time together too.
The ranking score is used to determine how "popular" a trip or location is. It is calculated based off of a weighted average of the number of reviews and the user ratings. For example, a trip with 2 reviews and an average rating of 5 will have a lower "ranking score" than one with 10 reviews and an average rating of 4. This is because even though the first trip has a better average rating, it has not been reviewed as much as the second trip, so it is not as "popular". In the future we may modify the ranking score to take in additional factors, such as the number of views, comments, and photos.
