Had a slow start but started getting some action around 9:00 or so. First hit was lost due to the big damn white plastic I was using.(Starting to think they are useless without a 10o hook :( indeed!)

First catch Ha beat this a 2 inch fresh water Clam...yes I said clam. Next I hooked into the 1.3 smallie nice fighter man fish in the res are healthy love the fights they give.

Then I'm Positive I had a Laker Grab my lure cause as soon as I setup I felt the tightness of the fish being there but like an idiot I had no leader on and the line gave out as soon as I set. (Damn teeth on them bastards.)

And then finally I finished off the day with the little bait fish you see in the pic.(not sure but its either a brown or a baby laker Had the 4" spinner on dragged it over him and tugged as it hit him and knocked him out. Then proceeded to use him as bait on my way out to the car with no luck.

All in all a decent morning and it was incredibly nice out on top of it.

Anywho till next time keep them lines tight.

Then at like 8:05 i got a finger bass got a pic in my phone seeing as my camera battery died and still cant figure out how to get the things in my pc. For some reason the sync is not working :(

So ill be bringing the real camera from now on.

I got started about three weeks ago in the Sudbury Res. Caught a nice 3 lb'r or so again had the scale this time(was a gift for x-mas :D) just left it at home :( FAIL!. Caught him in what I came to find out that is named Tick cove and appropriately. Not a bad place to fish and I've been told there are some lunkers in that area. Its ok to go there plenty of room just be sure to cover your scent if you plan on trail walking. Stick to the access road and you prolly wont see a single tick. Can't wait to see the still water in this area in the dead of summer.
