Went out for a couple hours in the canoe. Great day no wind. Getting colder so tried to find some deeper areas staying 100yds or more away from the shore. Using rubber worms had a couple bites, something decent but never saw him and then a nice 21inch 5lb Larry. Only fish of the day, but my biiggest yet. Picture to come

Took the canoe out early am until the wind was too much to deal with at 11am. Got a 2lb not far from 140 at the put in, got another 16in 2lb bass on th eastern side of the reservoir parralel to the island. I haven' t fished in such heavy weeds before with much success, my first fish had 10lbs on weeds on top of him by the time I got him in the boat (off a BPS Senko knock off worm). GOt the other later in the am off a black buzz bait (that's a first). So many weeds didn' tknow what else to try. Fishin worms in the wind and weeds is tough. Good day overall, but the wind is annoying in a canoe. I need to find an easier place to put the canoe into this place, as my shoulder is hurt and had to get some help from a good samaritan at the put in spot off rte 140.

6am to Noon. Hit the west side again. behind the island that never seems to hold fish, but tried again. Got 7 bass three were about 1 lb each. Gold RatL trap, spinnerbait, and senko blue wacky style. First time trying the senko instead of the curltail type worm texas. I get soo many bites but can never tell if it is sunfish or not. Annoying but got a few on the small 4" senko, so built up some confidence again. I've done about 4 trips this summer to Neponsett and usually run the same area on the west side and typically get nothing larger than 1 lb. Lots of small stuff in there.
