Currently trying to 'return to analog.' I lead a digital and plugged-in life... I need to let that go and return to the woods. Or to the Canal.

I had an hour to kill after work and before a dinner meeting, so I had my rig and tackle in the car so off I went - in my work clothes, dress slacks and all to check out Jamaica Pond, in JP. It was about 5:45pm - 6:30pm. I fished I believe what is called the North Cove from the beach. I used a jitterbug to catch either a young smallmouth or a largemouth, couldn't tell as it was getting dark but I will find out from the photos soon. About 7-8."

My buddy won a free week stay at a lodge deep in the woods. He invited a bunch of us to stay. I, of course, spent most of the time at the nearby man-made lake. On the main road, I fished sundown with a jitterbug with good bites and one smallmouth bass. Next day, around 1pm, off of the small pier, just a few small panfish with worms. In the evening, a few good bites with the jitterbug. Next AM, on the right side, fishing at the tree stump, some larger pumpkinseeds with worms, that's all.
