Across the river from the Watertown boat ramp. Very murky water, seemingly not too clear and a stained brown color. At a point where the river splits around a small island. Few bass and a yellow perch, all small fish.

While everyone else drank beverage and grilled meat. I decided to take in the early evening way out back by the river for some casting. The second fishing excursion of the day, the first being at Winthrop in Holliston.

Very solid day, fished from about 11am through 6pm. 90 degrees, gorgeous. Fished the shoreline for most of the day with some pretty consistent action, surprisingly so given the time of day we were out there. Hit about 8 pickeral, 5 or 6 bass and a handful of perch. Biggest bass in the bunch was a modest 2.5lbs and the largest Pick was a girthy 16 inches. The weather and the action paved the way for a heck of a day- minus the sunburn. Pics hopefully to come, once I can figure out a mobile phone transfer

Charter out of Sesuit Harbor in Dennis with some of the fellas. Killer day, a bit overcast to start leading into a gorgeous morning. Began with coffee and beers as we pulled out of the harbor as we headed to some nearby shoals. Jigged for stripers for a bit then moved over to the center of the bay where we had some spotty luck with some blues, a bust for the most part. Things started to heat up when we moved location over to THE PATH off of the Truro shore. Nailed about 16-18 blues. Continued slugging beers and catching fish, solid morning on the water.
