I am 59 and retired. I have plenty of time to fish but most of my friends have family and work obligations which keep them away from the water. I am easy going and not a know-it-all. I've had the privelege of catching big king salmon in the Kenai River of Alaska (have friends who run a lodge and guide service there) and huge halibut in nearby Cook Inlet during my five visits to that terrific spot. I own a timeshare in Mazatlan, Mexico and have fished there frequently. The charters trhere are cheap ($400/full day offshore big game fishing.) I've caught blue and striped marlin, sailfish, mahi, tuna, and roosterfish there. They also catch the occasional black marlin and
swordfish It's a great fishing spot and reasonable. I'm happily married for 37 years (my wife satill works as a teacher) and have two children who are grown and gone. I would like to hook up with some people who might want to fish or converse about fishing

Fishing, Fihing, fishing. I primarily fish the salt but will hit the Bucks County, PA lakes and streams someteimes. Mostly fish South Jersey but willing to go where they're biting. My favorite is the surf and I fish Brigantine, NJ where I have access to a house in the spring and fall. Sometimes I'll hit the beaches of LBI and Cape May, NJ. I fish on friends' or charter boats sometimes, mostly out of Cape May but I will occasionally make a long range trip or fish a good spot in another area on a charter. I occasionally hit the nearby Bucks County, PA lakes and streams (my success has been limited so far) but I am a novice in the freswater and would like to learn more from someone who knows more than I do.

Fishing Techniques
I do whatever it takes that's sporting and legal to catch fish. I mostly fish baits of various sorts in the surf but do use lures sometimes. I like to fish for fluke with bucktails and bait trailer from boats. I enjoy trolling for tuna, marlin, etc. with rigged baits and lures. I enjoy fishing with buctails, plugs or bait for striped bass and blefish from boats. I do a little freshwater fishing in nearby Bucks county lakes. I am really a novice at that and would love to have someone teach me. My best success so far has been with rubber surface frogs in the pads and vegetation. I am very flexible in my techniques and am willing to learn from anyone with tips to share.
