Decided to take another shot at ell pond looking for a double header from the night before. looked around the same areas but this time I only caught one bass near the opening across from the dog park. I was using the same 1/2 ounce lipless that I used to catch the second catch from the night before. It was a little bigger than the two from before but still only about 7-8 inches. I happened to run into a guy named Gary that told me he grew up in the area fishing here. He also added the fact that there was no bass a long time ago. when he was a kid he and a few friends would fish in spot pond and bring bass over to ell pond. I don't know how true this is but I also ran into an old couple that did mention that there was no bass in the pond years ago. Funny coincidence right.

Started out with a medium lip-less crank bait and lost it to the trees near by. At this point I moved over to the pads near the dog park. Over in that location I was using a top water frog. I did not see any activity over there. Lastly I decided to move to the wooded area next to the parking-lot with a minnow swim bait. Felt a bite my first cast and caught a bass on my second cast. not a monster by any means. I kept getting bites but was not able to set the hook after that. I then switched to another lip-less and caught the second one on my first cast. At this point i was being eaten alive by the bugs so i decided to call it quits and whent home for a cold beer.
