Around 3 O'clock we decided to hook up the boat trailer to the Dodge and haul it about 10 minutes to Beseck Lake. We fished a few different lures up and down the easy side of the lake around docks and near structures. One of the lures we used that both my father and I have luck on everywhere we go is the Mepps Comet 1. If you haven't seen this lure I would suggest trying it out! It's worth the 3 or 4 bucks. First cast my Dad caught a nice yellow perch and that just started off our good day on the water! We caught a variety of fish on it today. We had a "Mepps off" to see who could catch more on that particular lure. I would say it was a pretty close day. We both caught our fair share of Calico, Perch, and Bass trolling up and down the east side. I caught about 8 Calico, 2 yellow perch and of course a bunch of sunnies. My Father caught about 2 calico, a nice 3-4 pound Largemouth, and 2 yellow perch. After a few hours the wind didn't let down and it started to get rather chilly. We called it a day around 6:30 and packed everything up and went to Guida's for some chili dogs. What a great way to end a few hour fishing trip!

I brought no Rods or tackle. Used my buddies. Caught a large variety of sized sunfish from half pound to minnow-like. We went from around 4:15-8:30pm
