Fished all my life about 68 yrs.
Now do to some health issues I just make up a few of my own spoons and chat with my customers about fishing and what colors they are using and some of the hot spots that are taking fish.

Interests
In the past I did just about everything, I hunted even though I was that good of shot when it came to deer hunting ( I got buck fever LOL, just to excited) I did ok when it came to ducks,Geese and pheasant hunting, but I gave that up after I got shot at. It was very very close.
Then I became more active in fishing. Fishing became my life. I even went to a fishing seminar and took some night courses. I've had some darn good experiences fishing, thats one of the reasons I love to chat about fishing.
Favorite Fish to Catch
all of them trout, salmon,northernpike,bass,Walleye etc

Poonie spoons,live bait,stick baits,Mepps
Fishing Rods
Fenwick for boat rods, Spinng rods vari from St. Croix, Older sheakespear fly rod, I made up my own spinning rods from fenwick blanks, (ultra lite, to light to medium action) the lengths varied from 3 ft up to 13ft. long
Fishing Reels
great lakes for boat rods and Penn for seth green rig with a 4ft roller tip rod. (lake trout) I had a lot of fun with using the 5 leader on each rod. Seneca Lake NY 98% of the time. Canadaquia Lake NY
Fishing Techniques
do a lot of zig zag and change speeds and change colors. Changing colors was used more for Lake Ontario NY salmon fishing. For trout on the other lakes that all I had to do was take my silverplated spoons that was stored on my spoon holder (never needed a tackbox and my two rods and my weights and my landing net.
I would go out and catch our dinner with fresh trout lake and rainbow delicious.

Seneca Lake, Lake Erie, Upper & lower Niagara River, Lake Ontarion and Canada
