bedlem This is a nice little section of the canal about a half mile walk from the visitors center. It appears as though a bridge once stood here and there is a bottle neck created where it once was. This leaves great fishing from both sides of a small point, with plenty of room to set up gear, chairs etc. We had room for 4 to fish plus an umbrella, camp stove etc. There is also a place here to pull a canoe out if you do not want to walk your gear down, this is what we did as it was much easier to float it then carry it.

Semi-firm bottom, little to no current with an average depth of about 4-5 feet.
