frambrett Nice one. I know a lot of us bass fishermen are annoyed when we hook pickerel instead, am I'm one of them sometimes, though it's better than getting skunked. But sometimes they put up a better fight than bass! I caught one today that thrashed so violently as I swung him into my kayak that he threw the hook while he was mid-air over my lap, then he somersaulted into the water on the other side of the boat!

daleb. Caught a small carp!!?? I think...not listed here as a species in wading river..not a great pic but after some research we think it's a small black carp...
