southjerseyangler there are a few tall patches of weeds/plants 25 feet out, cast into a small channel btwn 2 patches and WHACK! 1st cast out I got this pikerel. He zigged/zagged got caught in some thick weeds, I had to loosen the line and let him get unstuck - then reeled him in. 1st fish i've gotten with this lure, used it maybe 10 times over the summer with no hook-ups, the shut out is over
