slivvverr thanks for the help and info muskiebigfish,deaffisherman,and
welding hank. I kept at it and in finaly paid off today. two nice carp. one 29 inches I figured 15 lbs, no scale. The other one 32 inches 17.8 lbs . A guy saw me catch it and came over with a scale. Im going out of my mine im so excited about it. now im hooked for sure. What a fight they give, your right HANG ON!

blackstonecarp Nice looking fish, good on ya. Though I hope that if you are going to chase them you spend a bit learning about some good fish handling and catch and release fish care. Bigger fish, require a bit more then some of the smaller fish people chase. Nets, a mat of some sort, not holding them by the gills etc.
