bassinbrooksy Damn... nice dropshot fish, I've never cought anything over 2lbs on a drop shot rig but I don't fish it often. What size hook were you using? Also curious what bait? Id laugh if you said a 3 inch gulp minnow on a # 2 hook lol

bassinbrooksy Oh k lol. I get a kick out of guys catching big fish on light line with little hooks. Just something about using such small stuff to catch big bass blows my mind.I saw a video of matt allen from tactical bassin hooking into a big bedding bass with a teeny hook on 2# mono using a single tentacle ripped off a tube just to prove a point that big bass will attack tiny baits

samf crazy fight especially in that inflatable POS hahaha i also got a 5 10 that year drop shotting. you don't just need to use tiny finesse lures.
