roaminangler Turkey Creek starts in Clay and Pinson AL. about 30 miles from where I took these pics . I learned how to flyfish in those upper areas of the creek . In the sixties and seventies , it was loaded with several Bass species : Largemouth , Spots , Shoal , Redeyes , and some folks said Smallmouth too . I don't think it was ever cold enough Smallies .
