blackstonecarp Doesn't look 8 pounds to me..your sure your scale is accurate? And it is only about double your foot..which unless you have size 14 feet then 28 inches is a stretch...Not to mention try not to lay them on the ground..unless your keeping it the chances of a fish surviving unharmed after having it's slime coat destroyed is slim :(
