Hi Dave, Have done little fishing this year because of bad weather early in the year, also been busy, but plan on doing some soon. I bought a boston whaler this past fall and love it.

Thanks

Dave thanks for the update on what ur up to i just fished friday on the elites at wheeler, alabama as an observer i drew elite pro mark tucker. great guy i ended up getting 15 lbs in 3 fish on a trap in the 1st 20 minutes. he then told me to sit my ass down cuz i was catching his fish hahaha its all about those angles off the back of the boat baby !!!!!!!! i sat down the rest of the day to watch my pro and see what he was doing. was hoping to get a bit of an education but he didnt show me much that i didnt know already, checking in with my sponsor to see if i can get in the open at lake guntersville in oct as a coangler.

Hi Dave,
I love the web site, it is very nicely done.I have a question, maybe you can help me with. I took some pictures with my cell phone that I would like to upload but they saved as .bmp files and this site wont take them. Is there a way to format them so they will upload here? Thanks for your help and keep up the good work.

Tight lines!!!

hi dave and thank u for the warm welcome. Even though i live in rhode island, i am interested in perhaps moving and i would like to explore my options as far as good places to fish. Believe it or not i haven't fished in about 5 years cause the fishing here is hideous. I got really tired of spending hours and hours fishing only to come up empty handed. I do realize occasionally it happens but not 100 percent of the time like out here. Fishing is supposed to be relaxing not aggravating. I would think it was my fishing technique but it also happens to my husband. He is out fishing right now and i can guarantee he'll come home empty handed. We both use different techniques as well as baits. He likes to use fake bait and i like to use live bait.

Thnx Dave, This is a great site and I will be more active in the future..I have just finished cancer treatments at Dana-farber and decided I needed a new hobby to get me out more..what better than fishing! havn't done it since I was young but Ive always loved it..I take everything I do seriously so I will be dedicated and learning fast.. I stumbled upon your site while looking for places to fish..not only is your mapping system fantastic but just the whole site in general is excellent! You should find me a great asset to your site(atleast I hope so) I joined a Beatles group and after only a few months the main man asked me to be a co-moderator.. I dont expect anything,I just want you to know that I am usually Fun & full of good Ideas! looking forward to chatting some more and exploring your site further.. :o)..Joe D

Thanx Dave! On a side note; halibut is a sport that you can acutually go hunting and fishing at the same time (shooting a large barn door halibut isn't considered an option, but a necessity in order to keep from busting up your boat)

Dave,

Can you add "herring" under live bait for adding details to trips/hotspots? We slayed the pacific halibut last week and herring is what is primarily used in the Pacific Northwest/Alaska.

Thanx for consideration

Bruce
