| Bait Details: | Overall, I caught six smallmouth. A few were small, but most were in the 2 1/2 pound class. It seems witht he warmer water of late the bite is a bit more active, and the fish seem to be fighting harder. I hooked into one fish at the end of a full 40 yard cast, and he fought every step of the way back. Some of these fish went airborne a few times, overall making a nice fight. |
| Location Details: | This fish is the last one i caught for the whole trpi, and fought the hardest. He jumped no less than three times, seemingly clearing two feet each time! |

| Bait Details: | This was the first (and bigger) of the two Smallmouth I managed to boat. Despite the looks, (he bled quite a bit, I think due to gill damage) I was able to release him safely. For the billionth time, those Tequila Sunrise Power Worms produced all of the action. |

| Bait Details: | I caught this on the same type of blue lizard that I have been hammering the Largemouth with. I was twitching it along the rocky bottom when this guy decided to play. |
| Location Details: | I stuck around the same area I have been at the past couple of weeks. The water is a little bit lower than normal. I have suspected for quite a while that there was Smallmouth here, but have not been able to prove it until now. |
