1 st wanted to thank kevin from the big mouths for hookin up with me sat had a gr8 day on the water. nice job out there kevin. anyway headed to pearl sun with my main man dave. we started out a little slow few pickerell & bass some pearch. hitting up my reg spots with not much luck so i said to dave lets fish the way kevin and i were fishing. (kevin was schooling me on fish patterns trolling use and a better way of setting up the fish finders for better grafix) so we started fishing for patterns. throwing some jigs w/ some soft baits. and it was game on. bass after bass while poor dave is filling the boat with pickerlls. the bite slowed back down. so i changed up to a strike king soft bait i had for at least 4 years (kevin was useing them on sat sprayed um down w/ some yum shad f2 and i pull in 3-4 2-3 LBers in a row. then it happens dave has troubble with his reel. at that point i thought the trip was going to end with the "headlines" (then he turned the gun on himself). he was so pissed off. i was afraid to ask him to use my camera to take a pic of the fish so i just threw it in the live well. and again a nother 2 lber. that goes in the live well untill dave calmed down about 1 hr later. if anybody has bothered to reed all this. the point is. Ive fished with a few guys from maff and learned from them all. All quality guys.............thanx maff |

decided to go do a little shore fishing at my friends house. it was about 230pm 45 the water temp was prob. low 40s the wind was steady at 15-20mph. fished for 2-21/2 hrs and ended up with 4 bass ( all keepers) a nice pearch and a small pickerell.orry about the pics they are a lil skechey useing my cell phone | - |

air temp 51 water temp an amazing 40-41 me and dave dunked the boat in @ about 9 am wind was lite at the time but we knew that was only tempary by 10-10:30 the wind was blowing a steady 10 mph w/gusts of 20mph. the smart people were useing marker bouys over there honey holes. within 15 minuts of getting started fishing I felt a nice tug and pulled up and set the hook and called to dave to grab the net and brought up a 3.5 smallie. for the next couple of hrs. we baged 6 small pearch then dave hooked up with a nice rainbow troute about 1-1/2 lb. all said we got 6 in the boat it was tough fishing with the wind as soon as we got on top of a group of fish the wind would take us off. fishing in january !! i,ll take it." i dont think the seasons over yet" |

temp 45 water temp 40- 42 got a late start put in @ the boat ramp just before 11:00 and stayed untill 2:45. the wind was non stop @ about 15-20 mph it was comming out of the south but still blowing over the ocean so it was a cold windy day out there. I figured i might run into some fellow maff,s. but i guess most/all you guys were a bit smarter and stayed inland or just in. smoke texted me and said he had 4 pickerel. know i,m thinking 150 miles round trip. 3 hrs in the truck and 3-1/2 on the water and not a bump, tap , nibble, just a snag and that came out pretty easy. i,m sure i hav never ben as happy to put the boat on the trailor and crank the heat. should be nice sun i,ll try again. oh ya forgot to tell ya my steering was frozen when i took the cover off. my plan was to motor stright and steer with my trolling motor. the steering defrosted. i dident. | - |

hi guys. got down johns pond @ 9:30 to try my luck at some smallies (never targeted them before) I think i need lessons!! for 4 hrs I tried some hair jigs,spoonns. some 4" finess wormes.spinners all kinds of stuff at all depths from 6 ft to 30 ft. and i got zip. The sun was getting pretty high. So I decided to fish the shallows on the rocks using a kvd square bill. after a half dozzen casts my rod bent down. supprised after more then 4 hrs of nothing. I pulled up and my rod stayed right were it was (hanging over the side. the only thing i felt was the line streaching and the rod bending. then the drag started singing. I had only 6lb floro spooled on the reel so i knew i couldent tighten the drag any more. i thought i had my 1st, smallie. but after 1-2 min going back and fourth I got the fish to breach the surface and landed a 5 lb 4 oz larry for my P.B. I never did get a smallie today but the largemouth shure took the sting out of it for me. maybe next time??? |

we started out bright and early at 11:00am using the kyacks so I realy dident expect much with the sun beeming down on us. and I have never got much out of a river. but this time as luck would hav it. and it was pure luck aftter throwing some senkos without as much as a nibble i decided to throw a spinner on and see what happens after a few casts I therw it on top od a weed bed by accedent instead of in front of it. $h!* now I hav to pull a trebble hook threw this mess. When BANG the rod goes down. I set the hook and the fish went right back down in the weeds. not wanting to rip it out of his mouth i was slowly trying to bring the fish to me. but I was in the kyack so the fish was bringing me to him by the time i got to him he prob. had 10 lbs of weeds wraped around him. I couldent tell if it was a bass ,pic, or pike. after removing the weeds hoping it wasent a pissed off pike waiting to take a chunk out of me. I found a nice bass with the hook just about pulled threw. I instantly grabed him by the mouth and pulled him in. This made my day. |

5:00 am water temp 78* calm wind but it did pick up. couldent ask for a nicer day. the fish were going for the senkos today, but just enough to keep my attention. |

got to the boat ramp @5:30 it was a nice 60* am water was dead calm until about 11:00 temp was 79* istarted throwing every type of senko size/ color. and only picking up a hand full of 8- 10 inch bass. all along the shore line. tried an aerea that is shallow and rocky and picked up 2 keepers. determand to put togather a bag of five i headed to a dropoff and picked up one more. then it just died off. no matter were i went ( all spots i usuely do great with the #s) i ended up with only a few pickerels a hand full of babys and a 1.2 -1.6 -2.1 lbers just last couple of weeks i was pulling in 15 one night and 28 2 days later well thats fishing. mabey i will try again tomrrow dout i can do much worse.. |

got out at about 730 from the boat ramp and headed out to our usuel ist cove and started over a rock formation and followed that to one of the islands. if you fish one side you hav a drop off were the bass love to hang. fish the outher side of the boat and its a shallow grassy aerea the pickerel love to hang out it started out a little windy wich made the condishions perfect. clowdy, drizzle we fished untill 2:00 and i had the numbers for a good day 28LM bass 5 picerals. about 20 keepers for the bass. dave was also doing his part . I would guess he had 15lm keepers and a hand full of pickerels also my best bass was 2.8oz dave dominated in the weights 2,o s 21/2s and this verry inpressive 3 1/2 Lb er he picked up on our way in to the ramp at the end of the day.sorry i had pics emailed to me but cant figure out how to down load from folder | - |

got out @ about 9:00 and instantly rewarded with back to back 1-1/2 Lb LM then hit the pads with chartuse/cream senkos and watermellom/cream senkos 5" rigged weedless pulled in a a few 2-LB bass A few 2-1/2- 2/34 and a nice 3lb 2 oz bass. if I dident just check my scale last night I would have said i got a 5LB er. but i just checked it with a bunch of soup cans and a shaws bag (high teck i know) all and all I ended up with 26 lbs 4 oz on the scale sorry i lost track of how much i pulled in just have a totle weight for all the keepers. aIt was a real nice day considering sunny sky and no wind and hot as h@ll. sorry about pic quality i had to take them myself. |

got out this am around 10 and stayed untill 2:30 the wind was prob 15mph i dident notice what the water temp was cause my front FF was reading 99 and i guess it dident matter to me enuff to look at the rear FF(sorry) I ended up bringing in 12 bass 7 were keepers and get this not 1 pickerel ..
ended up with some nice fish a 15,16,17" a 2 1/2- 2 3/4 and a 3LB sorry the details dont come up. dont know what i,m doing | - |

cloudy windy day , figured i would go to my old stomping grounds Buckmaster pond in westwood end up getting 7 bass i guess 5 were keepers. on the small side. i picked up a few pickerel also. fished from 4:30- 7:30 and used senkos the bass were going mostly for the blk/blu flake. iLL threw a few pics from a trip i dident post with it one is my brother bringing in 2 fish on 1 lure |

a nother great day on the water.started out @about 7:00 using my new go senkos. water temp was 65 water was merky (the norm) for that lake started with 4inch watermellon w/ blk flake. and the fisk were all over them in the south east of the lake, trolled to the south west cove. bringing keepers in all the way. when i reached the west cove water was darker color so i switched to a 2 tone senko somthing like lime neon green/ cream. and the bigger fish exploded. I went threw the bag of 10 in within 1 1/2 hour between 15- 20 keepers no $#@& between 1 and 2 1/2 and mostly in the 2-2 1/2. |

great day on the water we launched @7:30 and fished till 5:00 It was fairly calm when we started out but soon the wind came out of the south to the north I was useing senkos and killing um untill the wind realy picked up and my bit fell offf dave was swithhing from spoons to red and blk 7.5 culprit worms I got prob. 6, 2 1/2- 3LBs and 4 or 5 pickeral. but dave stole the day (all day) he had at least 10 keepers from 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 with prob 10 pickeral up to 4 LBS. no pics as of yet dave has a new camera and hasent figured out how to post. for you car toppers head to the north side all the good bass we got were from the north side | - |

got a late start so dave and I decied to stay local so went to our old standby lake in norfork the water was 51-53 dependind were we were the wind was blowing 15-20mph I started throwing senkos and hoohed up with 3 small bass right off the bat I think I got like 8 bass within an hour. dave was having a tough time throwing spoons then he switched over to some soft plastics and started bringing um in the boat one after another. dident realy keep a close number of the fish. because they were runts. but i would say we brought in 25+ | - |

Got out on the water just after 7:oo. it was a little cool with a pretty good wind comming out of the north. so I decided to go hide on the north side for a while. The water levle was high. And the water was 52* I dident hit anything this time. And I ended up with a totle of 7 fish 3 keepers- 2.35/2.87/2.94. 2 pickeral and 2 smaller bass. I just couldent break the 3 LB mark all caught on senkos. It was my 1st time trying them. so all said, not too bad of a day.I missed the outher half of basshunters. he had to work. i,m shure the #s would have better with dave on board | - |

dave and I started out by hiding out in some coves. again trying to get out of the wind. we decided to go for some carp
well within 10 min dave was fighting to get his 15 1/2lb er in the boat. about 5 min later my line started to take off and ended up landing a nice 20 lb er after that we went to work on the bass. we ended up with about 16 Lm and 2 pearch by the end of the day. the bass were all about 1 Lb ers so we dident even weigh them. all said it was a good day fishing |

we got a late start dident arrive at the boat ramp until 11:00am. we started off throwing some crank baits and some small spinners, little cleos rattle traps nothing seemed to work. all the time we were fighting the wind 20-30mph coming at us out of all directions. for three hours we threw everything in the water except the rods and tackle boxs. Then out of the blue we landed 4 small larrys in about ten minutes.and as quick as it was given.It was taken away. Im not complaining Its allways a good day on the water. I guess I got spoiled last year.with the early ice out and warm temps.soon the water will be in the 60s and the fish will be hitting every thing in the boat including shoe laces. but for now I will take what i get.and allways have that last cast. ps nice job dave"teem basshunter" |
