Hit Spy Pond briefly on the way home form work. Rumored to have goodsize Larrys and Tiger Muskies. This is the second time Ive tried here. At the end off Linwood Rd. there was a park area walking path. Not alot of stucture on this end. There was a small beach head and 3 or 4 clearings with stone stairs down to the water. Very scat as far as vegetation goes. Im sure by boat there are better places to be had. Wrapped up the night with one 6in bass. |

Im not much of a morning person, but I stopped at my usually spot for about 20 minutes this morning before work. Calm water, ton of panfish close to shore. Throw a slug-go next to a small muck/brush pile, and Boom! A 2lb Bass to start my day. Gotta love that! |

Didnt get much a chance to fish this weekend up in Maine. Tried to get out on Pushaw Lake on a buddies boat but the rain and lightning ended that trip quickly. Later after it cleared up, me and a friend did some exploring with about a half hour of daylight left. With not knowing much about the area, looking for anything fishable, we stopped here for the hell of it. Alot of growth on the bank, tough to get down to the water. Water was muddy color. One 12" pickerel to break the shut out. |

...Part 2 of my trip. Tried this area of the river for the first time. Huge dock, plenty of casting area from shore. By the looks of it Id bet this place get hit with alot of live bait anglers. 1 Yellow Perch to wrap up the night. |

Fished with Johnny and Chris after work tonight. I havent fished this pond in probably two month. Less weedy then I expected, maybe the town did a chemical treatment. Regardless, fish werent on fire but I did alright and got a little more comfortable with the new gear. 1 pickerel, and 3 Bass with the Lunker of the night being 2lbs 2oz. Good times! |

Went up to the northern end of Mystic River with my women tonight. Still adjusting to my new gear, and another attempt at getting my Girlfriend her first fish on her new "Lady Stick" Ugly stick combo. Fished about an hour, slow overall. I got two Yellow Perch, and my girl christened her new combo with her 1st ever White Perch(9in). |

Tried this spot behind the Dunkin Donuts on Rt 16 in Holliston with Johnny. I think this is a feed for Factory Pond. Sea wall that leads to a fall, Decent area for casting. Pretty Shallow and stained, mucky water. I missed a good size Pickerel , and a small Bass while trying to adjust to the new fishing rods. Finished the night with 4 bluegill. |

Did some scoping today with Johnny Bag-A-Bass at Glen Charlie to see if we could have any chance of success at the July 27th tournament. I must say Im not impress with any of the areas that we were able to get to and fish from shore. Very shallow, Weedy/muddy bottom. The one decent looking area at the south dam had no production at all besides one bluegill for Johnny and One pickerel that followed my shakyhead to the shoreline to not take a bite. It was a beautiful day and we had fun, but my overall thoughts of shorefishing that pond were very disappointed. I caught only a big bluegill and a tiny sunfish. On a side note we killed about 2 hours waiting for AAA to tow Johnny's truck out of "The Sand Pit". LOL, nice job stupid!!! |

Tried two different new spots tonight. South end of the pond there's a small access road to get to a pump house. Wind in my face the whole time. Only got bites on a rooster tail. 4 bass between 6 and 8 inches, and a Yellow Perch at 10in. Left there and headed to the north end where there is a cartop boat area. No wind, very still, pretty shallow and alot of muck. Ended up with one 12in bass. |

Fished with Johnny Bag-A-Bass at Heard's Pond(Sudbury River), My first time. Not much going on today anywhere on the sudbury. Will have to hit this place up again for another go around. I get 1 white perch to end the shut out. 3in crankbait, 4in perch...must have been a hungry little guy. |

I dont know what to make of this place. Ive heard in years past it was a great place, but something happened here. Plenty of places to cast from shore, and I only make it around a quarter of the pond. Mostly sandy/rocky bottom. Water is very clear. Vegatation is nearly non-exsistent. Seems to have good depth as well. I threw slug-go's, crankbaits, topwater, spinnerbait's...Nothing! I tied on a rooster tail for the hell of it at the end of the night and finally got an 8in Perch to break the shutout. Saw a Orange Koi about 10lbs float by at the end of the night. |

Fireworks and Fishing...Sure I take it any day. Ive fished this area a bunch of times. Not much has changed, but its a blast as always. 1 Smaller bass, 1 Pickerel was the tally at the end of the day. Had a nice 1 1/2lb bass hammer a slug-go, and put on a nice show, in front of some friends, of jumping out of the drink a few times, then spitting the hook at me right at the dock...DOHHH!!! |

What better way to wait out the holiday rush hour traffic?...Fishing, Of course. Slow night overall. Fish the cartop ramp again. There was 2 White Carp/Koi hanging around close to shore again. I ended up getting 2 Pickerel. One of them before the skies opened up and one after. |

Two different bodies off water tonight. Fished with my buddy Chris after work. Tried Factory Pond for the first time. Pretty Shallow and alot of cover. Chris got two Pickerel and I got one pickerel. That got old quick, so we blast down to Winthrop Lake to the Beach area on the east side of the lake. Real shallow. I dont know what to make of this lake. Probably would be better by boat. End there with 2 small bass and another pickerel. |

Tried a bunch of different spots today mostly with good success. The pond seems to have less vegatation then a couple weeks ago. Im assuming the has to do with the chemicals that DPC put in for the weed kill. The first two areas I tried today were new, then ended at the car top ramp for the end of the night. 1 pickerel, 4 bass, a pound and up, with the biggest at 2lbs 4oz. Love it! |

Another first time place. Ive heard good and bad about this pond. I started fishing just after the storm passed through. I started at the south end of the pond. There was a small nicely maintained cartop boat ramp, a small beach head, a couple clealing ot fish to the right and left with a couple small patch of lilypads on the left. Pretty shallow over all at this end off the pond, with a much better drop at the North end of the pond which also has multiple clearings to fish from shore. In the first hour I had the only 4 bass I would catch all night, all from the south end, with the biggest being 1lb 6oz. A ton of carp jumping clear out of the water all night. |

Try a different spot on this pond tonight. Look like a car top boat launch. Not as shallow as yesterday's spot but alot of vegatation and muck. Not alot of room for more than one person to fish from shore. Off to the right there was a tree laydown that could be worked with a good cast. Started fishing around 7pm, alot of action on the slug-go. Ended the night with 5 bass of which 3 were 1 1/4lbs and better...and one pickerel of course and miss probably another 5 bites too. Next week Im gonna look for more spots to shore fish. |

Ill start by saying this bass is in honor of my girlfriends grandfather who passed this morning. His spirit was with me for the very short amount of time it took me to caught this In less then desirable conditions at noontime. Much Respect RIP. The original plan was to meet up with Johnny after work to see what we could make happen here. But with the change of plans, I got out of work early, but had 45mins to waste. Turned out well for being a very shallow area. I look forward to exploring this pond some more. Ive heard good things about it. |
