Well, still bummed I had to miss the tourney at Lake Boon today. But I made the best of my day, grabbed a six pack and some sea-worms and did some surfcasting at Winthrop Beach. I got there 2 hours after hightide which isnt optimum time but still relaxing. Fish 3pm till about 5pm with calm seas, and beautiful weather all day. Only got one hit, and I wasnt missing it. It felt like I was reeling in a boulder, turned out to be a Skate all balled up into itself. First time Ive ever hooked into one, and would be fine without catching anymore in the future, lol. |

Back here after work again. Fished from about 6pm-715pm. Started windy, but calmed after 20-25mins. Just stayed in one spot tonight, as its got a couple tree lay downs barely in casting distance from the shore spot, and a little bit of vegatation. Happy with the results, but not satified. The count at the end of the night was 3 bass(10in, 13-1/2in 1lb 1oz, 13-3/4in 1lb 3oz) and I broke off a pig toward the end of the night. Had my rod doubled over, must of had a bad spot in my line. Live and learn... |

This place is pretty close to my work. First time here this year. I fished from 5:30pm to 7pm. Not much cover at all, and the Water color is stained brownish. Nice day, calm water. Bounced around to a few different shoreline spots. Finish the evening with a nice variety pack. One 3/4lb Larry, one 11-3/4" Calico, one 9-1/2in Yellow Perch, and a 7" Sunfish. |

Fished here after work from about 6pm-730pm. Wind was gusty when I got there, but quieted soon after I got there. Water level is way down since I was here in August. I thought I was gonna get shut out tonight, as I threw, senkos, tubes, frogs, zara puppy, jitterbug, buzzbait, swimbait...and got no bites for over an hour. I tossed around a Rooster Tail at the end of the night to try and get anything, and got smashed by a nice 18" 3-1/4lb Larry. Thank you! |

Well this is about the time of year where I fish close to work to maximize daylight. I havent fish here since June I think, a only a handful of times this year. I fish the boatramp area, and it was very slow. No lilypads, but plenty of milfoil everywhere. Not really much area to threw anything that wasnt weedless, and the water was way more murky than I ever remember. Anywhere I stuck it out from 6pm-7:30pm. Ended the evening with one Yellow Perch, and one 3/4lb Largemouth. Fall Trout season is coming... |

Joined my buddy Chris on his boat, the "Seasted". Fished from about 4pm- 8pm. Started at the Graves, chucking poppers, bucktails, and sluggos at the rock structure, but no dice. Moved to bottom fish a wreck a little further out, but no dice. Decided to head back to closer waters as it was a little choppy. While trolling the Deer Island area with BFG duel running swimbaits, a Bluefish came out to play. Nice, no shutout with my first ever Bluefish, and quit a buzz, lol, WOOHOO! |

Back Again...trying to get here as much as possible before I lose the daylight afterwork and will have to keep closer to work for the final part of the season. Post storm result, water level is up, current was steady but not as much as pre storm. Water not as clear, but not murky either. Things were pretty calm, and it didnt help that some jackass roared by in a boat, swapping the stones on shore. I guess I wasnt visible enough from a couple hundred feet away basically standing on the water, Thanks for not even atempting to slow down. Anyhow, not that the action was great tonight, only little guys out. Threw alot of stuff like usual, but the only takers were on the Rooster Tail, and a small tube. 1 Yellow Perch, and 3 Larry's of the 6in to 7in variety. Till next time... |

Back here once again. getting in a little fishing before the storm rolls in. Missed most of the rain tonight from 6pm-7:30pm. Current was cruising by tonight, but water was clearer than usual, and level was down a bit. 4 fish was the total in the end(2 Yellow Perch, 1 tiny Smallie, and 1 small Largemouth. I did miss atleast a 2lber, nailed my rooster tail, launch out of the river and threw it back at me, lol. Had a few whacks on a Rapala Floater F-7, and no one would commit. Ill be back... |

Back again like I said I would. Fished from 6pm-7:45pm. When I got there conditions were nice, and sunny. Put on my Polarized Sunglasses and could see into the water real good. I started throwing a swimbait and 2nd cast, clear as day I watched a nice Smallie chase it down from about 15ft away and smash it. Good start with a 15-1/2in 1lb 11oz Sally. Unforunately a couple boats came by and loosened up some grass, and murked up the water. So I switched to a weedless 5" senko with a 1/8oz tungsten bullet weight and started throwing around the pads. 3rd cast Im on again as Larry atleast a 1lb 1/2 launches out of the water and tosses the senko...Doooohhhhhhhh! I got a few more bites over the last 45 minutes, but nothing to show for it. Once again Im gonna try and go again in the morning...lol if I get my ass in gear, lol |

Fished for about an hour tonight after work at a common spot for me lately. Not much has changed here since last time, expect the water level is down a bit. The good news, I got 2 Yellow Perch. The bad news, I got two bites, one on the dropshot, and the other on the senko, that hit like a truck just to drop it a few seconds later...Dohh!!!! Well if I get my ass out of bed in the morning Im gonna try and get them tommorow AM before work. |

Fished for a couple hours after work tonight. Hot, Humid, Calm, and a tad slow tonight. Water level is down from the last time I was here. Got a few whacks, and one good hit on the Jitterbug, but nothing held on. Got one Bass on a swimbait, and 2 more on the senko. |

First off, Great job by everyone who caught keepers. Because I certainly stunk up the joint today. Fished with my good friend Vinny, who also had a tough day. Long, hot 6 hours for us, not to mention the Spanish Jet Ski Stunt Team. Just didnt figure out a pattern all day. Worked the shallows, deep, and in between. Topwater, senkos, tubes, swimbaits, crankbaits, rattle traps, drop shot, flippin', frogs, spinnerbaits all came up with no keepers. The only thing I could catch anything on was a Rooster Tail, but mostly the wrong species. If this was a Yellow Perch Tourney I would have done great. My fish count was 7 Yellow Perch, 2 Bluegill, 1 Sunfish, 1 Largemouth(5in), 1 2lb Pickerel, and my first ever Pike(it was only 6 inches, lol). Lastly just a bravo to Johnny for running another sucessfully tourney, well done brother. |

Only had about 45mins tonight to fish. Same area as lastnight, just across the road to the other side of the bridge. Water was less murky than lastnight, still not much current, but I think that helped me at the end of the night. Started throwing my usual Rooster Tail. Quickly got a 8" Smallie,a 8" Yellow Perch, a 7" Largemouth, a 6" Smallie, and a 6" Bluegill in about 20 minutes. After that action slowed, I decided to throw a weightless senko. 3rd cast in my line takes off, and I set the hook...snap...ohh F@%k is about what I said because I know it was a good fish, must of had a bad spot in my line, or a bad knot, Doh. So I tied on the same senko setup again... 2nd cast...Oh baby there goes my line again...and get a great fight out of an almost 2lb Smallie. With that I called in a night. |

Stopped at the Mystic River for a bit tonight to opposite side of the bridge from where I was a week or so ago. There was a couple guys in that spot that sounded like they caught a few decent fish. Water is still murky, the only difference tonight was the current was almost nonexistent. I barely got in an hour of fish time. No bites on the senko or a swimbait. Got 3 small Smallies on the Rooster Tail |

Hit up Heards pond tonight after work. Wasnt sure what to expect with the brutal heat today. Water level dropped since I was here Thursday, and with the lack of wind the surface was glass most of the night.Todays heat nost have push the big boys deep, cause I thought topwater would be insane, but sadly no. I also threw senkos, tubes, and a dropshot, but nothing but a few nibbles. The old trusty Rooster Tail was the savoir tonight. I ended this evening with 3 Bluegill, 1 5" Larry, 1 Calico, and 2 White Perch. |

Coming off a highly sucessful night here two days ago, I decided to give it another shot. There was a guy in the spot I wanted to fish already, so I fish another area 50-100ft away. I wasnt wild about it, and I only got a chunky bluegill , and 4 small Bass in 2 hours. The spot I wanted opened up at the end of the night so, I scooted over there, and within 5 minutes I had a nice 2lber in my hand. And with that I called it a night. |

My Second stop tonight was a quick 5 minute ride down Pelham Island Road. My second time fishing here. Glad I made the moved as it played off in my biggest Largemouth yet!! It was the only bite I got, but what a pig!! 20in 4lbs 3oz, GoodNight! |

1st stop tonight. I fish by the one-way traffic bridge on Pelham Island Road. Sudbury River is so high this year, very strong current. Fished for about 45mins. Got one 10" Bass on a senko, two 5" Bass and a Calico on a Rooster Tail. Then moved on to my next spot... |

Tried another shore spot along the Mystic tonight. Only got in about an hour of fishing. Very calm night. Basically only threw a 4" Tru-Life Swimbait and a Rooster Tail. Same technique with both, threw them up current and worked it back. Had a bunch of hits on the swimbait, and lost most of them, but the two fish I got out of the water(8in Yellow Perch, and 10in Smallie)fell off onto my feet and hoped back in the water...bastards, lol. Got a bunch on the Rooster Tail as well, 3 more Perch all between 7in-8in, a 6in Smallie, an 5in Largemouth, and my Lunker of the Night, a Chunky Calico coming in at 10-3/4in 10oz. |

First time fishing this area, on a suggestion from Johnny. I was lucky to dodge most of the rain. I definately caught a bunch of Bass, but the small ones were out tonight. Not 1 Bass over 10in. I know there are bigger ones in here, next time. |

First time trying this pond. Plenty of shore area to fish from the Main St. side. Only fished for about an hour. Brown stained water, good amount of lily pads. Ended the night with 1 small Bluegill, a small Calico, and a chunky Calico. |

Visiting the Parents and Grandparents this weekend in NH and took advantage of a few hours to fish off my Grandparents dock. Its on the south river(Winnipesaukee River) of Winnisquam Lake. Tons of rocks/boulders, very dangerous by boat. Beauty of a day on Saturday, fished from about 3pm to 6:30pm with my girlfriend. And the action was on, started both of us throwing Rooster Tails. I hit 6 sunfish with very brilliant colors, and my girl caught her first ever Smallie!! (9in, 7oz). I switched to a senko, and nailed a Smallie(12in, 14oz) on the first cast. So I taught my girl the senko technique, and she caught another Smallie(11-1/4in, 8oz) and then I got into a pig of a Smallie(16-3/4in 2lbs, 9oz - My biggest yet) which had another chasing it about the same size. My girl caught a 3rd Smallie(13in 1lb) to finish her night, and I finished up with a 6in Smallie. Sunday Before we left to come home, we fished for about 45mins at 12 noon. My girl caught another(Show-off, lol) a 10in Smallie, and I got two more sunfish. Great Weekend, great fishing with my girl. |

Stopped here tonight. Fished a couple spots on the eastern shore line. Not alot worth talking about, but atleast I didnt get shutout either. Did a little exploring to and found a couple spot I wanna go back and try out. Ended the evening with 1 Yellow Perch, 1 Bluegill, and 2 Sunfish. Definately looking for bigger, and better next time around. |
