They stocked the Roanoke River earlier this week. A few good fish are still available. I picked up three trout this morning. Two small rainbows and a 24" brown.

Trolled mostly with no luck. Very windy day. The lake had noticeable color (brown) from recent rains.

Fished for trout this morning. I tried multiple artificial baits. A Superduper was the only lure to get bites. I caught only one brown trout and lost a couple of others.
