This was my second trip to Howell Pond, Votedean and I took out my Tracker the day after hurricane Hanna (9/7/2008) it was very windy and the water was high do the the rains the night before. We were both throwing 4 inch senco's to the shore line, catching numerous LMB in the 1 to 3 lb range and one hog that weighed 7 pounds 11 ounces. This was one of the best days of fishing I have ever had.

Great day on Manitook with my new kayak. Caught lots of largemouth mostly small. I met a fellow yakker fishing for bass also. Manitook is a must fish. You can only access the lake by carry in only, you can launch at Manitook Motors on RT10/202 in Granby

A beautiful day, but no fish. Lots of rain the night before and perfectly clear water made fishing tough.
