tough start to the day with no bites for a few hours but once the water warmed up I caught 4 fish, including a nice 3 pounder which a few kayakers witnessed and were kind enough to take pictures for me. Just like last week I seen HUMONGOUS bass jumping out of the water, like whales or something. I find this pond to be difficult to figure out but will go back again in search of one of those big boys. |

Went to Spy pond for the first time. Strange pond, no lilly pads but plenty or hydrilla. Seen some huge blowups on the water, some big fish in there. I didn't get one today but I will be back. |

I can,t tell you how many times this year I've had a bass boil near, around or even on my frog only to never feel a fish on the other end. They tell you to wait till you feel the fish, then set the hook, and I always do and he hasen't been there yet this year until today. I finaly felt him take off with it and I set the hook, catching a just shy of 3 pound bass. Sweet! |

I got to the spot by 5 am and cast out a jitterbug first. The beauty of this jitterbug is that last weekend at boon, I snagged a spinnerbait on a bouy rope. As I pulled the rope up, I noticed a lure further down, also snagged on the rope. It was this puppy, so I brought it home and cleaned all the shmeg off of it, replace long rusty trebles and had a sweet peice. This morning is the first time I've used it and 3rd cast produced a 3 pounder. I thought someone had thrown a stick of dynamite in the water the way he blew up on this thing,SWEET! Then I threw a spinner for a while and it produced 3 more fish all decent size, 2 bass between 1 or 2 pounds and a huge pissed off pickeral. I could not get a picture of him as he ripped himself off the hook as I tried. An awesome morning by far, and a great pre-work succsess. |

Went to Boon with the usual bass gear but also with a light line spinning setup looking to catch some bluegill or crappie(witch I have been dying to catch). Well long story short it worked and I had a great day of fishing.I caught 2 respectable bass, 1 beautiful crappie, 2 pickeral(one of which was the smallest fish I have ever seen come out of the water) and many blugill. Tons of fun! |

Spent 2 hours down at the trusty pond. Caught 4, 2 on spinnerbait, 1 on a jig and 1 on a senko. 2 were dinks, 2 were decent. Well worth the time spent. |

Went out to give it a quick try this morning, with only a hour to spare. Went to my first spot and it was too full of people. Discouraged, I decided I should just go to work. Half way there, I changed my mind and tried another spot with half an hour left. 3rd cast to a fallen tree with a jig produced this nearly 5 pounder. |

Went to the pond after work. Made 3 casts with a crankbait and caught a little 1 poundbass. Switched to jig with craw trailer and the fun really began. Caught 4 more bass and 1 big mad piceral. This is doing wonders for my jig confidence which was nonexistent last year. |

Went to my favorite shore fishing spot. My buddy Derek came.The temperature was about 40 degrees and the wind was whipping ice cod rain in our face.
Not long before I landed a 2.5 pounder that fought like a 8 pounder. He was pulling drag and everything. My friend soon pulled an equally sweet bass out of the pond.It was only like an hour and a half that we were out but the weather made it feel like days. What a thrill! |

Have been practicing pitching baits and did well with it this afternoon. Caught my first fish (2 actually) on a jig. Pitched under docks and in cover. Also got one on trusty crankbait. |

pounds. also caught 6 other fish. caught them all on crank and spinner bait, started peeling spinners down docks and caught
3 including the pig, was in less than
1 foot of water! |

Spent a few hours out on the charles. Never went too far from the ramp. Was practicing flipping
and caught my first bluegill of the year. Went to casting senkos on a wall and caught four decent bass. |
