Fished a small pond in Pembroke off the side of the road.
Fished for 3 hours. First couple of hours nothing no hits.
Tried jigs cranks. Caught a small pickerel on crank

I picked up a blue creature bait from missile bait.
No hits.
Then I decided to take one last cast over by some reeds. At a spot I haven't fished yet.
Bam hooked up a chunky bass. She was very shallow. In some dead pads.

Hit a couple of other ponds. Stetson and some other no name pond.
No other fish or hits.

Went out on the seven B's out of point Judith,rhode island for my buddy's bachelor weekend .

Out of 7 boats that went out 1 keeper was caught.

On my boat 3 out of 23 people fishing caught fish
5 fish were caught only on my boat
My buddy's never been cod fishin before so I wish they caught something. My buddy got sick from drinking to much the night before.

Hit my honey hole again!
With no shiners!
Went jiggin.
Punched out the holes
Hit my sunnie holes. 1 hole caught nice perch right off the bat. Action died hoped over to the hole next to me.
Immediately caught a blue gill. Drop it back down! Bam another!

Action dies. Go to the hole we haven't had any luck I. The past 2 days.
Right off the bat caught a pumpkinseed. Action was quick. Lot of hits.
Caught a couple more.
Few more hits.
No fish lots of nibbles for a while.
Stayed after dark.
Caught a nice crappie.

Hit my favorite ice pond today. As I pulled up my buddy had a pickerel.
I made the wining hole. As soon as I dropped my panfish jig tipped with waxworm I had a hit.
Caught a nice jumbo. Then caugh another immediately after.
Action died a little when they stole my bait.
My buddy made a hole next to mine. Dropped a kast master bam nice jumbo.

I try a different worm. A meal worm. No hits.
So I drop it in the hole where my buddy got the pickerel.
I bait my lindy ratle'n spoon with wax worm. Before I could bait my spoon. My rod with the panfish jig takes off.
But at first I thot it was my other rod hitting it.
Set the hook. Bam the pickerel hit.
I could see the pickerel running.

Best part I was using an ultra light with 4 pound test!
I try using my rattlin soon on the other of In the perch hole.
Couple minutes another nice jumbo!

No hits for a little. Made a new hole nothing.

I go to a hole my buddy made but caught nothin.
I drop my pan fish jig with waxworm get another hit immediately. Wasn't a perch hit! I knew it was a sunfish!
5 minutes I caught a nice pumpkinseed. My. Buddy makes another hole next to me. Catches another pumpkinseed.
Action dies I move to a hole where my buddy had a jumbo hit.

I dropped my panfish jig down. Immediately caught a nice jumbo.
My buddy quick released a pickerel at the sunfish hole. It threw the hook at the hole.
That's it for the night.

I got 6 fish 4 jumbos pickerel and pumpkin seed!
My buddy got 1 pickerel 1 jumbo and a sunnie!

Saw birds working out my window. Ran out back with my rod
Tossin a live target blue herring.
Crushed them.
They come and go. Blitzing 10 minutes then on the othe side of the harbor. But always a few fish hangin after the blitz.
My harbor is loaded with bait all summer long

At night it's unbelievable how much bait there is.
But that's a hole other story.

Stayed at my buddies places on loon Mtn inicn nh. Only place to ice fish is mirror lake in Woodstock.
Been here a couple times last year not a nibble!
Went out today! Fished holes somebody made previously!
Fished in 30 feet of water got a perch on a silver buddy on the bottom!
I wanted to catch smallmouth but I got no bait.

Checked out a couple holes 27 feet . No fish silver buddy. Picked up a couple of fish eyes I found near holes! Made a hole in 22 feet of water. Sharp drop offs in the lake!

Decided to hit the perch holes.
Put a wax worm I found in my sled on a glow jig. Caught a perch! Put a fish eye I found on the trebel on my upper minnow! Caught another perch!
1 more hit.

A guy told me they stocked 1000 trout the week before!
Big browns in here.

Went out to catch some holdover stripers in the north river. Fished a spot I've never been to.
Clear water deep water and fast current!

It was a long shot. No fish tho. I'm not surprised. Catchin a striper in January is tough unless your at the famous holdover spots!

I will be back in the spring catch the big bass that chase herring up the river! Night is goin to be fantastic!

Hit my new favorite pond after work!
Used the rest of my shiners!

Caught 1 bass on a shiner!
1 pickerel on the smithwick!
This pickerel kept playin with me!
Hit my shiner. But it was side ways in its mouth!
Then it kept hittin the smith wick!

No shiners! Jigged a dead shiner I found on the ice on a maribou jig in the glory hole. Fish hit almost instantly!
Slow day. Between me and my buddy no other fish were caught no other hits.
I saw a bluegill on the camera!

I went back for revenge!
Set up the trap at the glory hole. Set up trap with a dead shiner on the bottom. Trying to catch eels and catfish!
Made some new holes. Trying to find the schools of panfish!
Flag pops in the glory hole. I let it run! Pull tight to the fish. Let it run. I land a nice pickerel!

No action in the hole for the rest of the day!
I drop my underwater camera in the new hole. A bass decides to taste my camera.
I drop a shiner on my rod. It hits immediately but my reel won't reel in. So I miss the fish. The damn bass took my last shiner!

I move the trap from the glory hole. Cuz It wasn't doin much!
So I put the trap in the hole where I lost the bass.
I go jigging for a little! Flag pops. Reel spinning. Fish is running.
Pull the trap outa the hole slowly! No fish!?¡¿ I didn't feel the fish at all on the line!
That's it! End of story! 1 fish couple hits!

Hit my ice honey hole again today after work. Ice still good.
Went after the bass I lost yesterday! I set a rod with a dead shiner on the bottom. I wanted to catch catfish and eels. Never caught them through the ice!
Same hole same shiner same trap. Didnt set the trap before a fish hit. Got it to the hole the pickerel spit the hook! Small fish!

I rebait. Set the trap. On to the next hole. As a I was setting up the other trap in front of a blowdown tree, my other flag pops.
Small bass! Rebait and wait. Try jiggin for panfish.

1hour goes by. My flag pops in the magic hole.
Line was screaming off. I wait try setting the hook and I miss the fish!

I rebait! I watch the shiner swim away into the depths. Then I saw a monster pickerel hit the bait. Guess what happened!
I miss the fish. I rebait. No fish on this hole again!

I wait and try jiggin for some panfish.
My dead shiner rod bends! Hopin for eel or a
Catfish. But I caught a fat pickerel instead!

Hit my ice fishin honey hole again today after work. Fished for the last 2 hours of sunlight.
Set up some traps. And go jiggin for some panfish.!
Before I can jig.
The flag pops. I miss the fish. As I was letting down the shiner. The fish hit again. I missed again.
So I let the shiner swim again. I saw the pickerel hit the shiner under the ice. Gota love black ice. I was pullin him in.
It threw the hook at the hole.

Reset 30min goes by. Same hole and trap. I finally caught the pickerel. Nothing big. I moved the trap to a hole created by someone else. It was right next to a blow down tree.

Hour goes by. My buddy's dog goes nuts and chases the flag. I look up line is peeling off. I knew it was a big fish. My buddy's dog starts biting the ice along the edge of the hole.
I bring up the fish to the hole. It threw the hook at the hole!

It was a big bass. All I kept talking about was how I'm getting a big bass
Well tomorrow that bassturd ain't gettin away.

My buddy's dog is crazy
Fisherdog! He learned that if a flag pops it's a fish so he takes off before we see it!

Hit a local honey hole today. 4-5 inches of clear black ice.
Fishing was kinda slow today. We didnt venture to far out. Or hit the good spots on the pond to catch bass or pickerel!

I caught 2 small perch.
My buddy caught a monster perch and a pickerel!
Heading back out tomorrow after work!

Went to my buddy's house in New Hampshire over the weekend. Did some ice fishing! And tried out my New agua vu under water camera.
I was hoping to catch one of the few big smallmouths in the tiny pond. Only caught yellow perch!

There's way to much perch in the pond. How do I solve this problem. I'm thinking of stocking it with more smallmouths

Fished little pond today in hopes of catching my first salmon!
No luck with the salmon.

I hit the same point that I caught the brown at last week.
Got a small bass on the wind blown point using mummichogs.
Packed up drove to the back side of the pond. Hit a point with a decent drop off. Got another small bass on shiners.

Sun starts to go down trout come out to play. They were rising out of casting distance. I hooked up some power bait caught a nice rainbow! Bunch of swirls here.
Got some good hits on the shiners!

Sun goes down! Had to give one last shot for a salmon or a big brown. Put on my rapala xrap pearl jerkbait. Hit the canoe launch. Saw a trout rising. Gave it a half hour and ended the night with a fat brown. Nothing big but I had a blast

Hit a pond on Sunday.brought a bucket of shiners. First fish of the day came in the middle of the pond in 20 feet of water.
Not hits for a while. Then the last hour the showers came through. The bite turned on. Lots of hit with 3 more bass. Nothing big. They came in 7-12 feet deep.

On Monday I used the rest of my shiners. Hit a different pond. No bobber. The shiners kept getting stuck in weeds. so i went a tree and grabbed a bobber out of the tree. i found a yumbrella and a freshwater danny plug.(metal lip swimmer) small pickerel in 7 feet of water in the big part of the pond. No hits or fish or hits in the big part. So I paddled up the pond. I lost a small bass near a dock at the bend in the pond. Hit a tree caught a nice pickerel. Hit a spot between a dock and a tree. Big fish of the day. 1.5 lbser. Caught a couple crappie on a xrap jerkbait in the middle of the pond. Caught Another crappie on a shiner off a dock. A perch off another tree. A small bass off a point in shallow flat on the xrap.

2 shiners left and it's getting dark. I hit a log no hits. Paddle back to a rock near a dock where I lost a good fish earlier in the day. Cast out bam nice hit. Missed it. Lost the bait.
Hook the last shiner up. As soon as it hit the water BAM!!! Chunky 1 lbser. Last fish of the day.

Bad good day both days. Sunday was a little slower but still glad to get out on the water.
Monday alot of the fish would hit as soon as the shiner lands In the water.

Caught a 2.5 lbser today off a blow down in about 3 feet of water. Caught it on a black grass jig with black zoom chunk.
Water was 46. Calm. Hit 2 ponds. First pond sucked

lots of panfish in the pond also. i caught a couple of perch crappies and a sunfish. never caught any good bass here.
i said screw it im walking to a new spot on the pond. i stoped at a boulder. First cast BAM!! I thot it was bottom. realized the line is moving. the bass took off.
2nd cast BAM!! The pickerel hit and took off.

This pond has been on my list. The water super low. I didn't realize how much fantastic structure this pond has. Tons of Boulders, stumps. A couple of under water rock walls. Along the shore line there are mazes of reeds and brush.this pond looks reel big bassy. I do believe there might be a herring run. Not sure

Hit a small pond today. Lost my only jig on a tree. I had some jig heads with a weed Gaurd so I used that.i had a nice fish on, but my line got caught on a nice crank bait stuck in a tree so I lost the fish. Lost a good fish. It bent the swivel. So instead of waking back to the truck to grab another I pulled one from a tree.
I caught 3 bass and a pickerel on a yum craw black blue.

Fished at hackers pond. No hits. Didn't see any fish. So after no bass I went for panfish. I got 1 perch and 4 crappie in 8-10 feet of water on panfish jigs.

Absolutely crushed the bass yesterday. Most were on the jig and pig. A couple on live target blueback herring. Also a crappie on the live target and on the jig and pig
